Customer service staff - imported goods
What you do
  • Receive and check the import documents from the agent
  • Communicate and address issues with the agent and customers/Sales regarding shipment information
  • Carry out the handling steps for consol and non-consol import shipments
  • Authorize/submit the Manifest on the one-stop information portal
  • Contact the shipping company/coloader/warehouse to receive the notice of cargo arrival
  • Check freetime, delivery instructions,…
  • Request debit, invoices from the shipping company and submit them to the system for payment
  • Send the notice of cargo arrival and delivery order to the Customer
  • Enter the shipment costs into the system
  • Send the container pickup list, the list for placing goods in the warehouse, and monitor the opening of the container
  • Handle issues related to the shipment with the Warehouse, Customers/Sales, field staff, and other departments…
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
What you need

Graduated from college or university in fields such as Foreign Economic Relations, International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Transport, and other related areas; possess solid knowledge of maritime transport and export;

Have at least 1 year of experience or work at an equivalent position;

Have good communication skills and problem-solving skills;

Be proactive, flexible, careful, and highly responsible;

Have a team spirit and the ability to work under high pressure;

Eager to learn and adapt quickly;

Able to communicate in English, read, understand, and write emails;

Have a clear development roadmap for oneself and a desire to commit long-term to the Logistics industry.
