4. Declaration process and procedures for importing electric ovens:

4.1. Register to check the quality of electric ovens :

Step 1: Prepare documents to register for electric oven quality inspection:        

Electric ovens are a conditional import item according to Decision No. 2711/QD-BKHCN , so when importing electric oven, it is necessary to register for quality inspection and certification of conformity.

According to current regulations, businesses need to register for quality inspection, then the goods will be cleared first and inspected later. After receiving notice from the shipping company, the business representative will carry out quality inspection registration procedures for electric oven.

To register, import businesses need to create an account on the national one-stop system https://vnsw.gov.vn/. For electric oven products, under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology, according to QCVN No. QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN , the dossier is sent to the Department of Standards and Measurement. quality.

Registration dossier for registering for quality inspection of electric ovens includes:

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Bill of lading
  • Certificate of origin if any (CO).
  • Main label of goods.
  • Image product.
  • Certificate of quality if any (CQ)

Step 2: Receive quality inspection registration results:

After receiving the enterprise's documents, the Receiving Officer will review the documents. If the registration dossier is valid, the business will receive the registration results within 1-2 working day. On the contrary, if the registration dossier is invalid, the receiving officer will respond within 1-2 working day.

Step 3: Check quality:

The Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality will not directly check the quality. Only organizations licensed to specifically inspect electric ovens are allowed to inspect. Enterprises will register quality inspection registration documents with organizations. After receiving the registration documents, the inspection units will conduct quality checks.

Step 4: Add the results of certification of conformity:

After checking the quality according to the prescribed standards, the inspection organization will make a decision and issue a certificate of conformity according to QCVN No. QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN and Amendment 1:2016 QCVN 4:2009/BKHCN . Having this certificate will supplement the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality.

4.2. Carry out customs procedures for electric ovens:

Step 1: Fill out the customs declaration

Step 3. Customs clearance of goods

After customs officers check the customs declaration information and physically inspect the goods, if any (for red channels), the declaration will be cleared.
