Export Manager
What you do
  1. Task management:
  • Make plans, define targets for the Export Department according to the business strategies of the branch and the company;
  • Build good relationships with shipping lines, seaports, warehouses, subcontractors ... to get good input prices and solve arising problems conveniently;
  • Research, analyze, propose optimal customer relationship policies; cooperate with Sales Department to promote sales revenue and develop Export FCL products/ services on the market;
  • Coordinate, allocate tasks, supervise, urge and support affiliated staffs;
  • Control progress, quality of service, and work results according to plan;
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department to manage debt in accordance with the Company's regulations.
  1. Staff management: 
  • Propose human resources and participate in the selection of suitable employees;
  • Train professional knowledge and skills, orientate and motivate affiliated staffs;
  • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of the work of affiliated staff; ensure the correct implementation of the process, standards, and regulations of the Company;
  • Support movements, cultural events, internal communications, and CSR activities.
What you need
  • Have bachelor's degree with majors: External Economy, International Business, Logistics, Transportation and another related major; have a solid knowledge of sea transport and export;
  • Have at least 5 years experience in freight forwarding, having experience in the sea export field is an advantage;
  • Have at least 2 years experience as a manager or leader;
  • Have strategic thinking and general thinking;
  • Have negotiation and communication skills;
  • Have problem-solving and optimization skills;
  • Have skills in organizing, coordinating, and motivating;
  • Good conversational English.
